Lise Risom Olsen is a Norwegian actress based in Berlin. She was born in Fredrikstad, in southeastern Norway. After attending a high school focused on drama and theater, she knew what she wanted to do.
She began studying theater in Bergen, simultaneously creating her first performances.
She soon founded NONcompany, her own theater group. The company has created several critically acclaimed performances and has worked and toured internationally.
In 2007, she went to New York to study film acting and American acting techniques. She continues to hone her skills with some of the best acting coaches of our time.
In 2013, Lise Risom Olsen moved to Berlin. One and a half years later, she starred in her first German production. She played a main character in an episode of the country's most popular crime TV show, TATORT. Her work received a great deal of attention. In 2015, she joined the Schaubühne theater company in Berlin. After a few years, she returned to freelancing, performing in both film and theater. She now works internationally, primarily in English, German, and Norwegian.
Lise Risom Olsen is a member of the Norwegian Actors' Equity Association and BFFS - Bundesverband Schauspiel.
