New Radio Play on German MDR

The Radio Play “Mein lieber Wolf – Meine lieben, fernen Mädels” (My Dear Wolf - my dear distant girls) is now out on MDR Kultur.

The german actress Elle Hellwigs born in Trondheim right after the second world war ended. Her Norwegian mother and german father were separated short thereafter. Ellen Hellwig has found the letters between her parents from these difficult after war years. The director Anne Osterloh has turned this info a beautiful radio play that gives an insight in the life in both Germany and Norway right after the war.

Years after his sister Anna's tragic death, 18-year old Finn (Max Schimmelpfennig) is increasingly haunted by nightmares and demonic visions. What his family dismisses as psychotic breakdowns due to a childhood trauma feels ever more real to him. As horrific events around him begin to escalate , he can no longer pretend that it's all just in his head. Together with his best friend Lena (Lea van Acken), he tries to uncover the terrible secret that lies in his past and behind the seemingly inconspicuous facade of his family.
